    Today at 7pm GMT/UTC brings the opening of our vanilla minecraft server while a lot of people are now more use to mod servers such as tekkit we've decided to go with vanilla but with some plugins instead

  2. Increased channel limit

    Following our first meeting in #Forum on the 17th of February the admins of the network entered in to a discussion about changing our maximum channel limit from 15 to 32.

    While many users may not use anywhere near this many channels some do, and often hit our limit of 15 and had to clone to join the other channels they use on a daily basis. By changing the limit to 32 we feel we’re offering our users a much better service.

    Today begins with us linking a new server to our client pool! After a successful link application and vote from JC we’re pleased to welcome alchemy.sorcery.net a server located in New York offering a new US server to replace the ones we’ve lost, this will increase our network strength in the North America region and offer more stability for users in this area.     Today sees our new hub complete its required test and vote period, this means that we can now introduce the hub in a full service straight away. Some of you may be asking why we need a new hub, this hub is located on the east coast of North America and offers a good stable link to our European hub offering a better overall stability to our network by providing a stronger link for our North American servers.

    Our second #Forum meeting was another success, while we did not reach the numbers of the previous week we did have more new people come in to share their ideas and their views on the discussions.

    This meeting was much shorter than the previous week but with good reason, the main goal of the second meeting was to give information back to the SorceryNet community as a whole to show we were working on the different topics discussed behind the scenes between the staff members, sorting
