As some of you know, there should've been a Network Director Confidence vote a couple of weeks ago.
However, Dan has decided to resign as our Network Director. Before I continue, I'd like to thank Dan for the long period he has been our ND. Dan, THANKS!!!
Anyway, back to business. We postponed the ND Election rounds this far because of staffers being on vacation. Now that as far as I know everybody is back, it's time to start them.
So, the Network Director Election rounds will start on Monday the 3rd of September. According to the Charter , here's how it will go:
Those who are elligable and want to run for the Network Director Election need to tell the Voting Managers so. The charter states they have to have done this by Wednesday. It doesn't state a time however, so I'd say "Wednesday the 5th of September, 23:59 GMT" is the official deadline.
If there are no candidates at this time, the Election round stops and is postponed another month.
If there is only one candidate at this time, this person is automatically our new Network Director.
If there is more than one candidate, the whole Voting shebang starts. For more info on this, I refer you to the charter .
So, in short, those wanting to run for ND, you've got untill wednesday 23:59 GMT to e-mail the Voting Managers about this.
